![]() If you would like to update to a new version, simply download the new FontBase AppImage. This is entirely optional and currently needs to be configured by the user. It supports all platforms and cloud sync through any cloud drive. If you want to restrict what FontBase can do on your system, you can run the AppImage in a sandbox like Firejail. the problem is this after updating figma I have font. Its been a few days figma can’t read fonts from font base and all fonts in my projects are missing now. I wonder if it is possible to implement support for this feature or maybe it is not possible because of the way Inkscape load available fonts. FontBase is a super-fast, beautiful and free font managers for designers. Figma and fontbase worked without any problems for months. ![]() I, for example, changed it to C:/FontBase. I was testing with FontBase and indeed the activated fonts appear in the font selection drop-down list in Word Processors (the simple WordPad for example), but unfortunately not in Inkscape (tried with v.1.1.1 and 1.2 devel), even if you exit and re-run the program. You just need to change the default root folder in FontBase to a different one. This will let you use fonts that you may not need to use in some other projects, so there is no need to actually install it. ![]() Recently I have found that some font managers lets you temporarily activate fonts, and the font becomes listed in the font selection drop-down list as long as the font manager is running (and even, in some software, there is no need to close and run the program again for the font to appear listed). As you probably know, having a lot of fonts installed on the system (at least it is true for Windows) increases booting times.
